POSTERMART!
Hello everyone,
We at hack/flash started Cardiff Gig Posters a short while ago to showcase Cardiff’s live music scene is visual form. We’ve already had a fantastic response on our blog - now we’re happy to announce the first POSTERMART!
On Wednesday 6th of April we’re going to move into the real world and take over Buffalo Lounge on Woodville Road. We’ll be displaying brilliant posters old and new, we’ll have stalls for designers to sell prints direct, and we’ll have some ace DJs playing music to peruse art to. We might even have some awesome, only-available-on-the-night Postermart one-offs!
So we’re looking for submissions for display, and asking any designers who’d like to be part of Postermart to get in touch. Drop us a line at cardiffgigposters@gmail.com
Big thanks to Liz for having us; this is a great opportunity to showcase the great design goes hand in hand with Cardiff’s live music scene, promote the humble gig poster and all meet up and say hello. Hopefully we can make it a regular thing!
